Unisa 2023 applications are now open

The University of South Africa has a range of qualifications for students to choose from. Applications for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma qualifications have been opened.
The University of South Africa (Unisa) recently celebrated its impact on accountancy education by being the top contributor to the chartered accountant profession in the country.
The College of Accounting Sciences has a variety of courses to choose from if you want to be in the financial sector.
The university also has a range of qualifications to choose from if you are interested in joining an open-distance e-learning university.
In a statement, Unisa announced:
Applications for admission to study through Unisa in 2023 open on 1 September 2022 for undergraduate qualifications, honors, and postgraduate diplomas.
As Unisa is an open distance learning e-learning university, you will be able to study while working full or part-time while structuring your own schedule to complete each course you are enrolled in.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to the following persons:
First-time Unisa applicants
Unisa students changing to a new qualification and/or specialization
Applicants who previously applied for admission and were not offered a place or were offered a place, accepted the offer and did not register
Students who complete a Higher Certificate or any other program and wish to continue with further undergraduate studies
The university also said that the admission period for master’s and doctoral programs will run from September 11, 2022, to November 14, 2022.
Students were also encouraged to apply as soon as possible as places fill up quickly.
It is advisable for students to do their own thorough research and use the university’s career guidance facilities as part of the process of choosing their career path.
